INSTALLATION
Get Flooring partnered with the General Contractor to deliver a comprehensive interior finishes package for Blue Sushi & Ghost Donkey in Chicago, IL. The scope included floor and wall tile, hardwood flooring, decorative wall planking, and thin brick installations throughout the sushi restaurant and mezcal and tequila bar, each space requiring a distinct look while maintaining overall cohesion.
THE CHALLENGE
The project featured highly detailed tile designs and a wide variety of materials that demanded careful planning and sequencing. In addition, coordination was required between two ownership groups—one representing Blue Sushi and the other Ghost Donkey—each with unique design priorities. Maintaining consistency, quality, and momentum across both concepts added complexity to an already intricate installation.
